A blue vanilla cookie with milk chocolate chips and mini cookie

Perfect for the Cookie Monster… Er, I mean Cookie Creature in your life, this legally-distinct-from-any-character-you-may-have-seen-before cookie is sure to delight. The milk chocolate chips are a step away from our usual hand-cut chocolate chunks, but they were chosen so they could take a back seat to the buttery mini cookie studded in the middle, and of course the bold, fun blue cookie dough. (Just a note on that, the blue is achieved using UK/EU compliant food colouring. But it’ll probably still make your tongue blue.)

This is a work of cookie. Any resemblance to actual puppets, living or dead (I have questions about that part of the disclaimer), is purely coincidental.

Technically you’re getting two cookies for the price of one. I’m just saying.

Ingredients: Unsalted butter, egg, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, plain flour, salt, bicarbonate of soda, vanilla essence, milk chocolate chips, blue food colouring, mini chocolate chip cookie.
